Todays First Challenge

Look what has arrived... EYELETS!!! (Courtesy of GDL trading NZ)

Now the challenge begins... how do I insert the eyelets so I don't end up with a big mess like below!! A bit wonky may be ok for samples but not for finished garments! (If you are wondering what is going on here the silver part is the tool I was trying to use to put the eyelets into the fabric before I managed to jam an eyelet inside it with the fabric attached and the stringy bit hanging off is the remnants of said fabric that had to be ripped from the tool) Off to speak to the professionals I think.
